The kit & hardware

What's in the Elixir Starter Kit?
Three pieces: the reusable Elixir Pen, the protective Case, and the insulated Cooling Bag for temperature-sensitive vials. You can buy each on its own, or together as the kit.
Is the Pen reusable?
Yes. The Pen is precision-engineered to be kept and reused — a matte finish, beautifully weighted, and simple to handle every day.
How long does the Cooling Bag keep vials cool?
The Cooling Bag is insulated to keep temperature-sensitive vials cool away from the fridge — on travel days, commutes and warm afternoons. The exact cold-retention figure is confirmed and printed at launch, not estimated before.
What is the Case for?
The Case keeps the pen and its companions cushioned, organised and discreet — at home or in a weekend bag. It's embossed with the Elixir mark and built to be kept.
What are the products made from?
Hard-wearing materials chosen to last and to be cleaned easily. Full material and care details are printed with each piece at launch.

The NAD+ programme

Does Elixir supply any medicine?
No. Elixir sells hardware and accessories only — the pen, the case and the cooling bag. We make no medical claims. Any prescription medicine is obtained separately from an independent, licensed UK clinic.
So how does the NAD+ side work?
NAD+ is a prescription-only medicine. The lawful route runs through an independent, licensed UK clinic who assess you themselves and a regulated pharmacy who dispenses on their prescription. Elixir is neither, and no assessment happens on this site. Elixir simply makes the hardware that keeps a supervised routine organised and cool. Read more on the NAD+ programme page.
Can I buy NAD+ directly on this site?
No — and by law you shouldn't be able to. NAD+ can only be supplied on a licensed prescriber's order through a regulated UK pharmacy after an assessment. Anyone selling an injectable like it over the counter, with no consultation, is not doing it properly.
Who is this for?
Adults, 18+, in the UK. Suitability for any medically-supervised programme is always the clinician's decision.

Ordering, delivery & care

Can I order now?
The kit is new for 2026. Join the list and we'll tell you the moment ordering opens and prices are confirmed. UK only, 18+.
Is delivery discreet?
Yes. Everything ships in plain, protective packaging, and the Case is designed to keep the pen tidy and private — at home or in a bag.
What's your returns policy?
Every Elixir piece is covered by our 90-day promise. Try it properly — if it isn't right for you, we'll make it right. Full terms are printed at launch.
How do I care for the pen and bag?
Wipe the pen with a soft, dry cloth; keep the cooling bag clean and dry between uses. A full care & travel guide comes with the kit and lives in our Journal.
How can I reach you?
Through the contact page — UK-based support, and we aim to reply within one business day.

The category, explained

What is NAD+?
NAD+ is a prescription-only medicine in the UK. We are not permitted to describe what it does, and we do not. Elixir makes the hardware around a supervised routine — the pen, the case and the cooling bag. Any clinical question belongs with the licensed UK prescriber who assessed you, or with your GP or pharmacist.
What is NR (nicotinamide riboside)?
NR is a form of vitamin B3 that the body can use to make NAD+. In Great Britain it is authorised as a novel food for use in food supplements, which is why it appears as the labelled ingredient in oral NAD+ supplements from reputable brands. Any nutrition or health wording we ever use about an ingredient will be wording authorised on the GB nutrition and health claims register — nothing else. See our editorial & claims policy.
Do NAD+ supplements need refrigeration?
Most oral food supplements, including capsules, are designed to be stored at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight — the label on each product is always the definitive guide. Some formats in the wider NAD+ world are temperature-sensitive and depend on an unbroken cold chain, which is exactly why we build insulated, considered carry hardware. Our Journal has a full storage guide and a travel guide.
Are NAD+ supplements legal in the UK?
Yes. Oral NAD+ precursor supplements sold as food supplements are legal in the UK, provided the ingredient is authorised and the product is labelled under food law. That is a different legal category from injectable NAD+, which is a prescription-only medicine and may only be supplied on a licensed prescriber's order through a regulated UK pharmacy after an assessment. If a website lets you add an injectable to a basket with no consultation, that is not the proper route.
